Financial Operations Specialist

[Temporary contract – maternity leave replacement]

Your responsibilities include:

  • taking care of sales and accounts receivable accounting processes, incl:
    • preparing and handling non-standard sales invoices and credit notes
    • exercising monthly checks over sales invoices
    • managing discount vouchers for sales invoices
    • registering receipts from customers and reconciling the list of outstanding sales invoices to accounting records
    • communicating with clients and team members to discuss overdue outstanding balances of customers, to resolve discrepancies and find solutions to poor payment discipline cases
  • taking care of purchases and accounts payable accounting processes, incl:
    • checking and validating costs from suppliers and recording approved purchase invoices
    • identifying original documents of payments made by credit card
    • processing expense claims and travel allowances
    • retaining an accurate purchase invoice register
  • providing prompt, courteous responses to inquiries or complaints from clients and vendors
  • assisting with other accounting and financial reporting tasks

We expect you to have:

  • preferably previous work experience in accounting or finance or education in Accounting, Finance, or in a related field
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Estonian
  • wise intuition when solving and responding to customers’ requests
  • a “can-do” attitude and an eye for detail
  • exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • a strong team player attitude, but also the ability to work independently
  • strong computer skills including accounting databases, Excel, and other tools
  • the ability to thoroughly analyze and research information
