April 2023 Version Update: Smoother Time Tracking and Jira Integration

Ever wondered where your time goes? Scoro’s excellent time tracking capabilities help you solve that mystery! This month we are tweaking the quick access to our Time Tracker so you could incorporate it into your workflows even more seamlessly.

Time tracker

Scoro’s Time Tracker helps you log time automatically as you’re working on assignments. You can open it conveniently from any view, using the quick actions menu in the top right corner. We’ve now equipped it with another shortcut – the Add time entry button. This means you no longer have to navigate all the way to the task detailed view to log a time entry. Save yourself the journey and do it directly from the tracker!

Moreover, you can now close time entries with less effort as we brought the Mark as done button out of hiding and into full view for instant access. Another click eliminated, another second saved!

Gantt chart

You can now fine-tune your project plan on the Gantt chart quicker – task duration is now editable directly in the chart view. Just double-click on the duration field, update the value, and voilà! But remember – you still need to click the Save button for the changes to take effect.

In addition, project phases are now visually more distinguishable from tasks, so you can easily grasp the project structure at a glance and tweak it as needed.

Jira integration

We’ve got some exciting news for all Jira users – we’ve launched the beta version of our Jira integration! Set up the connection to reap the benefits of Scoro’s powerful planning, invoicing and reporting capabilities without upending your tried and tested workflows in Jira. Your team members can continue managing their tasks and time in Jira like they’re used to, while all the logged minutes get seamlessly synced to Scoro. You can then use that data in Scoro to monitor budgets, invoice clients, generate reports, track utilization and productivity metrics, etc.

Smart export options for Quotes. You can now decide which data you want to export from the quotes list. Customize the list view with various filters and view options, then tick the rows you want to export and pick the option to Export only the displayed columns. The displayed data columns will be exported in the exact same order as you see them in Scoro. So no need to invest extra time into data cleanup post-export – simply extract only the data you actually need!


We’re working on…

  • Advanced triggers and actions. Set up even more complex rules in Scoro to get notified of very specific changes across the site or trigger custom workflows via webhooks.
  • Full quote-to-cash flow with role prices. Use roles already on quotes and build your whole flow around role prices – from scoping to tracking to billing.
  • Streamlined retainer projects. Plan, manage and track your retainer projects period by period and across the entire duration.
