From Localization Specialist to Head of Product Marketing: Kadri’s Journey at Scoro

At Scoro, we believe our team is the driving force behind our success. That’s why we’re excited to share the stories of the talented people who make it all happen.

Today, we’re catching up with Kadri Pultsin, Scoro’s Head of Product Marketing, to learn more about her journey, role, and what it’s like to be part of Team Scoro.

1. Can you introduce yourself and tell us about your role at Scoro?

I’m Kadri, the Head of Product Marketing at Scoro. I joined Scoro over three years ago, in October 2021, starting as a Localization Expert. Since then, my journey has evolved over time, and I now lead a product marketing team of two as part of the marketing division. I’m based in Estonia, and most days, you can find me working from our office in Tallinn.

2. What do you do daily, and what are your main responsibilities?

Product marketing is all about understanding what makes our product valuable and ensuring that we communicate this to the right people with the right words, so they would understand why they need it.

Therefore, my days involve different cross-collaborative initiatives around product value propositions and messaging – supporting the Sales team with marketing collateral that highlights Scoro’s values, helping the Product team launch new features with a resonating message, collaborating with the Services team on customer communication and feature adoption, improving the website together with the Marketing team, etc. My responsibility is to coordinate these different initiatives, advise, and provide hands-on help where needed. So, no two days or weeks are ever really alike as projects and ideas move fast.

Alongside me, my team has talented product marketers who play an important role in bringing all these initiatives to life.

3. How has your career developed since joining Scoro?

It’s been a fast-paced and exciting journey. I initially joined Scoro’s Product Engineering team as a Localization Expert to streamline our localization processes, ensuring they were maintainable, scalable, and integrated into product development.

As the team’s only “language person” at the time, I began contributing to broader discussions around product content—things like naming conventions, guiding users through the product, and articulating the value of new features. This naturally led to taking ownership of product content management, including release notes, product tours, and support materials.

These first two years in the Product team, working closely with our Product Managers and Designers, gave me a deep understanding of our product and the problems it solves. This foundation and my love for words made my transition to Product Marketing almost inevitable.

So, about two years into my journey, I started collaborating with the Marketing team on website content. From there, it was a quick and organic shift into Product Marketing, which I find to be the perfect mix of creative, analytical, and strategic challenges.

4. What skills have helped you be successful at Scoro?

It’s less about specific skills and more about having a “get things done” attitude. In a growth-stage company, you’ll often find yourself navigating unknown territory. Curiosity and the courage to dive into new challenges, the ability to learn on the go, and take ownership of your work are key. As well as the ability to continuously learn from constructive feedback.

5. How would you describe the company culture at Scoro?

The company culture at Scoro is rooted in trust and flexibility. People are seen as individuals first, and the environment reflects that. You’ll find genuinely nice, smart, and approachable colleagues here who know how to rally behind a common goal when it matters most.

6. What do you like most about working at Scoro?

The people! My colleagues are incredibly helpful and intelligent, and my team lead is excellent. I also appreciate the freedom to choose when and where I work, the fun team events (both official and unofficial), and, of course, the four-day workweek. It’s been an absolute game-changer for my work-life balance.

7. What’s your top advice for someone starting at Scoro?

Be curious. Ask lots of questions from day one to build a strong foundation. There’s a wealth of knowledge in everyone’s heads about our product, its value, and our mission. I sincerely believe that curiosity and a self-starter attitude will set you on the right path here.
