Junior IT Engineer

We’re looking for a Junior IT Engineer to help keep our IT systems running smoothly and our environment secure for employees and clients.

In this role, you’ll handle a variety of tasks from resolving daily IT issues to maintaining systems and devices, responding to alerts, and supporting larger projects. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and protection of our IT infrastructure.

We’re open to junior-level candidates with a background in IT or security, and a strong desire to learn.

You’ll work closely with our IT and Security team, gaining hands-on experience and support from seasoned professionals. It’s a hybrid role, but one of the three teams needs to be present in the Tallinn office daily.

What will you do?

  • Provide day-to-day IT support for our employees, helping resolve hardware, software, and access issues.
  • Manage devices and licenses, ensuring smooth setup and maintenance.
  • Administer and update our MDM systems for Mac and Linux (patching, policies, settings).
  • Handle user access management across different tools and systems.
  • Monitor alerts and assist in responding to incidents, including participating in an on-call rotation for critical issues.
  • Support the implementation and testing of new IT policies, tools, and systems.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to resolve critical issues when required.

You’d be a great fit if you have:

  • A degree (or are currently pursuing one) in Information Technology or similar.
  • A desire to learn and develop your skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive mindset and a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.

Bonus points for:

  • Previous experience as a Mac and/or Linux user.
  • Previous experience in IT, security, system administration, or DevOps.
  • Previous experience with Linux, managing and updating servers and Wi-Fi devices.
  • Previous experience with Atlassian products.
  • Knowledge about information security principles.
  • Basic coding/scripting skills (no specific language required).
  • Previous experience with video and audio equipment (mixer, audio controllers, cameras).
