DevOps Engineer/Lead

What will you be doing?

  • working as an integral member of our engineering team
  • examining existing systems and redefining architectural requirements for improved quality and stability; working out strategies for more stable services
  • ensuring high availability of client environments (servers and databases)
  • setting up and maintaining our development tools (e.g. Docker, CI tools)
  • managing deployments and ensuring that critical systems are functioning effectively and consistently
  • maintaining security, backup, and failover strategies
  • executing new ideas through the use of automated tools and DevOps best practices

We expect you to have:

  • experience in full-stack agile software development
  • proven infrastructure architecture design skills
  • experience with AWS cloud stack
  • strong automation skills and the ability to drive initiatives to automate processes
  • understanding of network security (Software/Hardware/People habits)
  • experience with setting up and maintaining web service stacks (e.g. Linux, Apache/NginX, MySQL, NoSQL, PHP, Node.js)
  • high level of analytical and technical expertise, and an understanding of business practices
  • desire and willingness to learn about new technologies, products, and tools

You get extra points for:

  • having previously worked with SaaS, accounting, CRM, ERP, or other business software
  • having a degree in Computer Science
  • your desire to contribute to building world-class business software
