Accounting Assistant

If you are detail-oriented, driven by numbers, have knowledge of accounting, and value teamwork, then this is the job for you!

Your responsibilities include:

  • taking care of sales and accounts receivable accounting processes
    – preparing and handling non-standard sales invoices and credit notes
    – managing discount vouchers for sales invoices
    – registering receipts from customers and reconciling the list of outstanding sales invoices to accounting records
    – communicating with clients and team members to discuss overdue outstanding balances of customers to resolve discrepancies and find solutions to poor payment discipline cases
  • taking care of purchases and accounts payable accounting processes
    – checking and validating costs from suppliers and recording approved purchase invoices
    – identifying original documents of payments made by credit card
    – processing travel and expense reports
    – retaining an accurate purchase invoice register
  • providing prompt, courteous responses to inquiries or complaints from clients and vendors
  • assisting with other accounting and financial reporting tasks

We expect you to have:

  • educational background in Accounting, Finance, or in a related field
  • previous work experience in accounting
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Estonian
  • a “can-do” attitude and an eye for detail
  • exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • a strong team player attitude, but also the ability to work independently
  • strong computer skills including accounting databases, Excel, and other tools
  • the ability to thoroughly analyze and research information
